Happy Thanksgiving, USA!

I would like to take a second to wish all my friends, family and readers in the United States a very happy Thanksgiving today. A rather remarkable thing happened recently. As most of you know, I am Canadian. I was born here and have lived here all my life. I started this blog a little over a year and a half ago. Since then I've had about 8,000 visits to my blog. Not a bad start and I expect that number to keep growing exponentially. Although the blog has received worldwide attention within that 8,000 (every inhabited continent in the world has visited this site!) the most visits per country was always and understandably Canada. The United States was always a close second. A couple of weeks ago or so, the page views in the USA officially surpassed the number of visits in my home country. It is a cool little milestone for me. I put a lot of work into this blog (despite the grammatical errors I keep noticing every now and then) and it's such a rewarding feeling to know that it hasn't gone unnoticed and that in a so far small way it has received international support. It makes me very thankful.

So with that, a big thank you to you, USA. May your own Thanksgivings be full of great food, loved ones and fond memories in the making.

That is all. :)
